The Wheel of the Year is the Pagan calendar.
Marking out the eight Sabbats (holy days),
the calendar takes the shape of a wheel,
signifying the cycles of nature and the seasons.

The Lunar Calendar
The Pagan calendar also follows the phases of the lunar cycle.
Each month, the moon repeats it’s cycle of waxing and waning,
and each full moon- or Esbat- is recognized by a different name.
